Reimagined
Scottish Craft

Hi! I'm Leah, a maker reimagining traditional Scottish objects for a contemporary Scottish audience.
My sgian dubhs and quaichs capture a playful, authentic interpretation of 'Scottishness' by featuring my signature 'tartan-ish' patterns.
My process combines traditional handcraft techniques like silversmithing and woodwork with contemporary digital techniques like 3D printing and CNC milling.

I am a Licentiate of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, and member of the Scottish Knifemakers Association.
I was awarded a Bachelor of Design with First Class Honours from the University of Dundee in 2024. I also received The Society of Designer Craftsman Award for Outstanding Innovation in Craft and Design, The Sir James Black Award for Outstanding Achievement, The Fife Contemporary New Maker Award and the South Square Trust Silversmithing Bursary for my work through my degree.
